  • Learn Hebrew through listening to JRR. Listen to songs and see what words are familiar. What words are not familiar? Keep an ongoing list of Hebrew vocabulary you hear on JRR. Have students look up the meanings to new Hebrew words. This is how people in many countries begin to learn foreign languages.

  • Offer a special challenge to students to listen to JRR over the next week and bring back the names of 5 new Jewish Rock artists they have never heard of and give fun prizes – maybe make a special mixed CD with some of their favorite songs on Jewish Rock Radio.

  • Challenge students to get cleaned up and lined up for the next lesson before a song is over on JRR.
