Cantor Inbal Sharett-Singer is the senior cantor at Temple Israel Minneapolis. Cantor Sharett-Singer was born and raised in Israel and was steeped with love for Judaism, music and tradition. As the great granddaughter of Israel’s second Prime Minister, Cantor Sharett-Singer was raised with a passion for peace and social justice. Upon moving to New York City, she graduated Cum Laude from the Opera Department of the Conservatory of Music at Brooklyn College in 2008. Cantor Sharett – Singer received her ordination and M.A. in Sacred Music from the Debbie Friedman School of Sacred at HUC-JIR, New York City in 2015. As a versatile Mezzo-Soprano and a classically trained vocalist Cantor Sharett-Singer performed at New York City’s most prestigious establishments such as at the United Nations and the Town Hall Theater, as well as appearing in concerts in Israel, Italy and Austria.
