Danielle (Elle) Tzur is a rising freshman about to attend the University of Oregon. She has dedicated the majority of her high school experience to NFTY (North American Federation of Temple Youth) and served as the 2016-17 NFTY Central West regional president.
Elle grew up loving and listening to Jewish music and eventually began to compose after spending 10 summers at URJ Camp Newman and 2 at the URJ Kutz Camp as a song leading major. While both of these programs helped develop her skills immensely, Elle credits most of her song leading and writing abilities to her mother, Rabbi Lisa Tzur, with whom she is honored to be singing her first professionally recorded song. Lisa’s guidance and support has enabled Elle to pursue her passion for both Jewish leadership and music and Elle could not be prouder to have “Rabbi Ima” in her life. In the future, Elle hopes to learn more from her fellow song leaders and looks forward to writing Jewish music.
