Josh Niehaus is an independent artist from Seattle, WA. Coming of age in Seattle in the ’90s sowed the seeds of a lifelong relationship with rock music and inspired Josh to begin writing his own songs at the age of 12. Josh played in a handful of garage bands in High School before heading off to Columbia University and the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences. He eventually entered the workforce in Los Angeles as the Music Assistant on The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien.
Josh is now a professional singer/songwriter and recording artist who continues to play shows locally around the Northwest. Josh serves as the Musical Director at Herzl-Ner Tamid Conservative Congregation on Mercer Island, WA.
Josh blends his love for rock music with his Jewish upbringing to create spiritual services for synagogues and camps around the Pacific Northwest. He also plays in two other Jewish musical groups, Josh & Chava and a children’s music duo called The Sababas.
